Why you shouldn’t break a tenancy early

When you signed your rental agreement, you signed a legally binding contract with an end of tenancy date. If you break this contract, and we can’t find tenants before you move out, you may be responsible for paying the rent until the property is leased again, as well as other costs the owner may incur such as; advertising and leasing fees.

We understand that sometimes things are out of your control and you may need to end your fixed-term tenancy early. Generally the owner and property manager are happy to work with you to find a solution that works for you and them, giving as much notice as possible helps to find replacement tenants.
