Saving Energy

Brrrr, it’s cold outside!

It’s a given that your energy costs will creep higher and higher in winter, but there are some things you can do that will save you a few dollars:

  1. Put a few extra layers of clothes on – pretty simple but it works.
  2. If you have a heater or fire on, close the doors to empty rooms. Keep the heat where you are.
  3. If it’s a sunny day, open some curtains to get natural warmth inside.
  4. If you notice any draughts, use a door snake or rolled-up towel to block them.
