Rent Your Property Sooner

Current conditions indicate that we are in a market that suits renters, which means tenants can pick and choose to find a home that suits them perfectly.

Unfortunately, a renters’ market also means that it could take longer to lease your property.

We sat down with Property Manager Esther Nilson to get her rental tips for renting your property sooner. Here are her top three suggestions:

Apply a fresh coat of paint in a neutral colour throughout the property.

This will lighten up the rooms and give the home a fresh feel. It will also cover up any unsightly chips and scuff marks.

Replace any broken or missing vertical blind slats and ensure that all blinds are in good working order.

This is important for privacy as well as sun blockout.

Consider installing a skylight in passages or living areas.

This will add more natural light, which opens up the space. A skylight may also save you money on electricity.

The tips don’t stop there. We have six more that we’d love to share with you. Download them now.
