Portable Swimming Pools

Summer in Perth is always hot.

While the 2017 summer is expected to be a little milder, we’ll still be looking for ways to cool down. Buying a portable pool seems like an easy answer but there are a few things you should know.

  • Swimming pool regulations apply to portable pools.
  • Any pool deeper than 30cm must be fenced.
  • Portable pools can cause damage to reticulation, lawns and gardens.
  • If the portable pool is placed on paving it can cause discolouration and even sink.

Tenants should request permission, in writing, from their owner or property manager before installing a pool. You should provide details of the type of pool you’ll be purchasing, where it will be located and how you will comply with the pool regulations.
