Ever wondered what our property managers do? We sat down with Lauren Jackson and asked her a few questions about her portfolio.
How many properties are in your portfolio?
At the moment I’m looking after 130 properties with the help of Mishelle Patel.
What suburbs do you cover?
Rivervale, Carlisle, Lathlain, Kewdale, Belmont, Burswood, Redcliffe, Victoria Park, East Victoria Park and Cloverdale.
What are the highlights of your area?
Well, Victoria Park is known for its café and shopping strip, as well as the nightlife. Belmont has the Belmont Forum and the Oasis Leisure Centre. There’s also Reading Cinemas, which is a big drawcard. The apartments, particularly along the river, are modern and stylish, while areas like Victoria Park and East Victoria Park have renovated character homes with high, decorated ceilings, floorboards and plenty of charm. There’s something for everyone, really.
What is your take on the Perth market at the moment? What have you seen when showing homes to potential tenants? Has there been a lot of interest?
The Victoria Park area is highly sought after at the moment, which is driving the prices up. Demand for properties across most suburbs is high, which is consistent with the current market.
