How many properties are in your portfolio?
What suburbs do you cover?
Primarily Gosnells, Maddington and Huntingdale, with a scattering in Mt Richon, Bedfordale, Armadale, Seville Grove, Harrisdale, Piara Waters, Southern River and Canning Vale.
What are the highlights/features of your area? What kinds of homes are available?
What I like about my portfolio is that it is diverse! The type of homes available vary from a standard 3 x 1 to large 5 x 3 in the newer suburbs. I also have a number of cottage blocks with small new homes on them and I even have three rural properties.
In the older, established areas there are major shopping centres. In Southern River, Piara Waters and Harrisdale there are smaller shopping centres with expansions planned for the future. Canning Vale has a couple of smaller, vibrant shops.
There are good schools in all suburbs, including private schools and colleges, and there are ample parks and leisure areas in all suburbs.
What is your take on the Perth market at the moment? Have you seen lots of interest in the properties that you’re showing?
Depending on price range, the market is very buoyant. There is high demand in the $400 to $450 price range. Between that and $550 is steadier. The market is much more selective in the $550 to $650 price range. Generally things are very positive at the moment.
