Changes to Residential Tenancy Law

As you are aware, changes to Residential Tenancy Law now require that every residence which is leased must have minimum levels of security. These include deadbolts installed on all ground-level timber doors that don’t have security screens, as well as locks on all windows and porch lights at all front doors.
 
Owners have two years from 1 July 2013 to implement new security updates. Is your investment property up to scratch? Now is the time to take action.
