Carol is the Licensee and Manager of Rentwest Solutions. She began her career in real estate sales more than 25 years ago and moved into property management in the early 1990’s. While the switch into property management was only intended to be short-term she discovered that she really enjoyed the challenges and accomplishments of doing a difficult job exceptionally well and decided to make it her career. Having spent most of her time in Perth (with four years in Sydney) Carol is very familiar with the local market. She counts empathy, being a good listener, assertiveness and having a good understanding of tenancy legislation as her key qualities and says that her main focus is protecting the landlord’s investment while ensuring tenants are looked after fairly. Carol believes that Rentwest Solutions has created the ideal working environment with a strong and supportive team, excellent tools to make the job easier - and a great boss! Carol dreams of seeing the Kimberley, taking the Ghan from Adelaide to Darwin (with a stop over in the Red Centre) and finally paying off her mortgage.

Suzanne is the highly experienced and accomplished Director of Rentwest Solutions. Starting her real estate career straight out of high school, Suzanne, at 21, was the youngest woman ever to receive her Real Estate and Business Agents License. At Rentwest Solutions she currently oversees 900 properties and 20 staff. Suzanne’s main focus is ensuring that all Rentwest Solutions’ owners and tenants receive the best service available, making certain each promise is kept and each investment is managed to the highest level possible. She believes the exceptional office environment and the most dedicated team of project managers in the business really sets Rentwest Solutions apart. A skillful communicator and negotiator, Suzanne enjoys helping people find a home and helping home owners get the best return on their biggest investment. She loves the variety that her job offers and the fact that every day is different from the next. Even with twenty two years experience, Suzanne is still learning as much as she can about the industry. She’s successfully completed her Diploma and Executive Certificate in Real Estate Management and an MBA at Edith Cowan University. She’s also an active and valued member of the Chamber of Commerce, Leading Property Managers of Australia and the Real Estate Institute of W.A. Away from the office, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her two sons, eating out and traveling to new and exciting places.

One of our newest team members, Amy started her career in country Victoria before moving on to Melbourne and Brisbane. With ten years of real estate experience under her belt she decided to make the move to Rentwest Solutions in February 2010. Managing a portfolio that spans from Fremantle to Victoria Park, Amy enjoys the constant challenges and surprises of her job. As a Property Manager she enjoys helping people and seeing the results of all her hard work. Amy is enthusiastic, helpful and has a genuine interest in the welfare of her tenants and clients. Inheriting a strong work ethic from her parents, she believes in working hard and doing her job to the best of her ability. As a new Perth resident, Amy is enjoying exploring the city and making new friends.

Angela joined the Rentwest team in April 2010 as our Receptionist & quickly advanced to Assistant Property Manager. This role requires valuable backup for the Property Management team to ensure the portfolio is running smoothly & efficiently at all times. Angela has now progressed to a Property Manager with a small portfolio whilst continuing to offer valuable knowledge & assistance on other portfolios. With a background in the service and hospitality industries, Angela made a smooth transition into real estate in 2005. Approachable, empathetic and always happy to help, Angela is a fantastic asset to our team and a dedicated advocate for our tenants and clients alike. Angela is a highly motivated, organised and dedicated team member and is currently working towards becoming a Business Development Manager. When she’s not at work Angela enjoys cooking, dancing and spending time with family and friends. An avid snorkeler, she enjoys spending time at the beach in summer.

Brianna initially came to RentWest on a work experience placement. A month after she graduated from high school - we offered her a job! Since starting full time at RentWest, Brianna has worked her way up from Receptionist to Property Manager Assistant. Always helpful, happy and enthusiastic, Brianna provides valuable support to our Property Management specialists. She’s eager to learn and is always more than happy to assist our clients with any questions or requests they may have. Brianna has successfully completed her Certificate III in Business and received the AUSNET Real Estate Group’s Receptionist of the Quarter (July - September 2009) and Receptionist of the Year (2009) awards. When she’s not working, Brianna likes to spend time with friends and family, shopping and being outdoors.

With a varied background in administration, customer service and real estate; Caitlin possesses an enviable range of skills that make her a valuable asset to our team. Beginning her career in Fremantle as a Property Manager trainee, Caitlin went on to develop a keen interest in real estate. Over the years she has worked hard to learn as much as she can about the industry. Efficient, friendly and always willing to help, Caitlin enjoys being an Assistant Property manager because of the challenges the role presents. Caitlin is committed to ensuring that our clients and tenants are kept happy, and that the properties under our care are maintained to the highest possible standard.

Hazel is one of the most experienced members of the Rentwest team. With more than thirty years in the real estate industry, Hazel has done everything from land development to property management. She has also held several senior management positions with a number of industry leading firms. Hazel joined Rentwest as a permanent member of staff in October 2010. Highly skilled, well versed in all aspects of property management and very customer focused, Hazel has successfully managed a portfolio of over 1000 properties throughout her career. She is an excellent problem solver and enjoys the many challenges that the job entails. In 1983 Hazel won the inaugural Professionals Property Manager of the Year award and has continued this high level of excellence throughout her career. Hazel counts reading, kayaking and walking as her favourite activities outside of the office.

Jane came to Rentwest in February 2011 as a temporary Receptionist but she was such a great fit for the team that we invited her to stay on. Since starting full-time, Jane has moved into a Property Management role. After a working holiday in England, Jane returned to Australia and began her real estate career with a company that specialised in real estate software design. Over the past several years she has been involved in different areas of the industry including sales, contracts, operations and management. Jane performs her role exceptionally well and counts customer service as one of the most important aspects of her job. Jane excels in all areas of management, is friendly and approachable, and is committed to improving and extending her skills by completing a Diploma of Property - Real Estate. For Jane, the most important qualities a Property Manager should possess are good communication skills, integrity and being a team player. As an ambassador for Rentwest, she believes in exceptional customer service and constantly strives towards providing the best support for both our property owners and tenants.

Kirsty began her real estate career in 2005 and has worked her way up from Receptionist after arriving in Australia from England. She joined Rentwest Solutions in 2008 as a Property Manager Assistant but has recently successfully completed her Property Manager’s course. Kirsty is dedicated and hardworking and is always willing to lend a helping hand to her team mates and her clients. She likes that her days are always different and never boring and relishes the opportunity to learn as much as she can about property management. Kirsty thinks the most important part of her job is responsibly managing all aspects of each property and reminding herself that it’s someone’s retirement fund or income that she’s looking after. She believes being vigilant and detail oriented are very important skills to possess.

Lisa has been employed in many varied positions since beginning her real estate career 17 years ago. She began as a Receptionist then moved to Property Manager Assistant before continuing her training and becoming a Property Manager. She has enjoyed working for several top WA real estate companies and came to work at Rentwest Solutions as a Business Development Manager in early 2008. A highly driven and dedicated person, Lisa enjoys the flexibility that the BDM role offers. She is able to use her excellent organisational skills and creative thinking to develop new and interesting prospects for the growth of the business. Her number one priority is ensuring that the excellent level of customer service that Rentwest Solutions is renowned for is maintained and that her clients are well looked after and happy. When not working, Lisa loves spending time with her daughter, visiting wineries, shopping and eating out. She’s working on becoming a property investor herself and would love to travel to new countries.

Currently on maternity leave Michelle is one of three dedicated Business Development Managers at Rentwest Solutions. With previous experience in retail management roles, Michelle made the switch to real estate by becoming an agent. A hardworking, self motivated person, Michelle ran her own interior decorating business which satisfied her creative side before joining us at Rentwest Solutions. Michelle enjoys getting out on the road and meeting people of all walks of life while selling the services and benefits of Rentwest Solutions. She enjoys working with such a dedicated and supportive team and highly values the friendships and connections she’s made through her role. A highly professional, focussed and friendly BDM, Michelle enjoys the challenges that her role presents and looks forward to learning as much as she can about the real estate industry. Outside of the office Michelle likes to spend her time relaxing by the river, taking family holidays and helping her son with his homework.

Nicole is Rentwest’s Receptionist/Office Administrator. She is generally the first person our clients and tenants speak to when they call or pop into the office. Bright, bubbly and always happy to help, Nicole joined our team in March 2011. Nicole has always been a people person. Having worked in a variety of administrative roles, Nicole has completed a Property Management course and has spent a few years working in the industry. This practical experience has proven to be indispensable to our team. Helpful and efficient, with a keen eye for detail, Nicole is a fantastic first point of contact for Rentwest.

Renaye is a Property Manager with over 20 years experience in many different roles within the real estate industry including strata, commercial and settlements. In 2008 she was voted by her peers as “Ausnet’s Property Manager of the Year” in recognition of her excellent service and dedication. Renaye got her start in Property Management after being thrown in the deep end during a work experience placement and she hasn’t looked back. She enjoys the time she can spend working out in the field, getting to know her clients and tenants, and always handles each of her properties with diligence and fairness. As one of the most experienced Property Managers at Rentwest Solutions, Renaye believes that our low portfolio to Property Manager ratio sets Rentwest Solutions apart from other companies. Concentrating on a smaller portfolio means she is able to do a better, more focused job, for all her clients.

One of the more recent Rentwest recruits, Sarah joined our team in March 2011 as an Assistant Property Manager. Over the past few months she’s proved to be invaluable asset to our team and is currently assisting two senior staff with combined portfolios of over 250 properties. With a background in retail sales and customer service, Sarah has a knack for looking after our clients. Looking for a career change earlier this year, Sarah decided on Property Management after a glowing recommendation from her property manager aunty. An excellent communicator, Sarah — like the rest of our team — will go out of her way to assist our clients. She uses her many years of experience in customer service to provide the highest level of support to our property owners and tenants alike. Organised, efficient and methodical, Sarah’s goal is to be managing her own portfolio with Rentwest within the next 18 months. Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
